For starters, a commitment to hard work. An appreciation and understanding that hard work is the foundation of a life well-lived. And a well-run company. Hard work is one of the key threads that knitted our nation and it is the glue that will keep us together. To say 2020 has been a challenge is an understatement. There are no words to express the deep impact American businesses, both owners and employees, have endured so far and what we must be willing to accomplish to thrive again. In preparation for writing to you today, I came across Why It Is Important To Work Hard by Joshua Becker. I thought it was a good read. Whether the work is paid or unpaid, there are many reasons to commit to the discipline of hard work. This article highlights seven:
